Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Adamkevich Viktor Vladislavovich was born on February 5, 1915, Katerinoslav (modern city of Dnepropetrovsk). During the years 1932-36. studied in Dnepropetrovsk theatrical art school. During 1945-51 years. studied at the Kiev Art Institute. Mentors: K. Yelev, K. Trokhimenko and yes. Shtilman. Lived and worked in Kiev, Ukraine. Adamkevich VV also worked in the genre of poster and easel painting. He designed the books “Happy Day of Suvorovtsa Kolodez” by I. Bagmut (Kiev, 1963). Among the paintings: a portrait of the Hero of Socialist Labor O. Gitalov (in 1954), “Still Life with Apricots” (1958r.), “Hello, the Sun” (in 1963). Collaborated with the magazine “Barvinok” (Repka, Goldfish); publishing houses “Youth”, “Radyanska School”, “Art” and others. The main works “At Rest” (in 1951); portrait of the Hero of Socialist Labor O. Gitalova (in 1954); “The link of twice Hero of Socialist Labor is. Dolinyuk (in 1960); “Hi sunshine!”; “T. Shevchenko in Ukraine.The works of the painter are represented in many public and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
