Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He was born in the village of Kalyvka, Vinnytsia region in 1890. He studied at the icon-painting school of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra (1903-1909) from I. Izhakevich, at the Kiev Art College (1911-1915) at A. Murashko, at the Academy of Arts (1915 – 1916) .) in A. Makovsky, at the Kiev Art Institute (1927 -1930) from F. Krichevsky. Since 1927 he takes part in republican and all-union art exhibitions. In 1911 – 1915 he took part in the murals of churches in Kiev and Yekaterinoslav (Dnepropetrovsk). Personal exhibitions took place in Kiev in 1955, 1966, 1987; in Vologda in 1957, in Lviv in 1956, in Donetsk in 1967, 1968, and others. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Lived and worked in Kiev. The works of Konovalyuk FZ are kept in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the National Museum of T.G. Shevchenko, in other museums and private collections.
